In 1973, Omer Mariman started a modest company in Stekene under the name H.F. Mariman in which life companion Maria collaborated.  Due to the ever-expanding range of seeds, grains and especially pigeon feed, it soon became too small there.  We found and bought a large commercial property in Hamme.

Soon his son Hardy joined the company and his wife Magda took over the management of the company together with Omer.

After a while the name H.F. Mariman is replaced to Paloma nv.

Because of the ever-expanding range of seeds, grains and especially pigeon feed, the place soon became too small. We found and bought a large commercial property in the Doornijkstraat in Waasmunster.  This building was suitable for our ever-growing turnover.  In the meanwhile, grandson Jurgen was trained by Omer and his mother Magda to become a full-fledged successor to Paloma NV.

Today, Jurgen runs the family business with his partner Liesbet and proves to be a skilled and enthusiastic manager far beyond the national borders.  In the meantime, their sons Gio and Kiano also work in the company and deliver the goods by truck.

The expert team led by Jurgen, including Markus Schumacher who is mainly responsible for the German and Polish markets and who developed the premium pigeon feed 'Diamond Line'
